Resolved: 14 September 2026, 09:20 UTC
Severity: Major
Affected: Content Delivery API — document search and GraphQL endpoints
A change to our infrastructure configuration caused our API service to be unable to start correctly. During an 18-minute window, a majority of API requests returned server errors. No customer data was modified, lost, or exposed at any point.
- 09:02 – 09:20 UTC — the majority of requests to content delivery endpoints returned server errors.
- From 09:20 UTC — error rates returned to normal levels and normal request volumes resumed.

|---|---|
09:02 | Error rates begin rising across content delivery endpoints |

Our engineering team identified the cause within minutes and restored the affected configuration. Error rates dropped sharply, and normal operation was confirmed from 09:20 UTC.
We are strengthening how infrastructure changes are reviewed, validated, and deployed. We are adding guardrails to catch misconfigurations before they reach production and reduce the risk of similar disruptions.
